The Mission of In-Domus, consistent with that of its founding partner, the Social Housing Foundation, is represented and defined in its Articles of Association, of which you can see an excerpt below:
The Company’s goal is to responsibly generate social value. The generation of economic value is therefore a prerequisite for achieving this goal and for the continuity of the enterprise, not an end in itself.
The Company operates in the management of university and temporary accommodation. In this area, it intends to better protect the right to study, a right which is constitutionally protected and advocated in the protection of university and post-graduate education, through its support and contribution to solving the housing problem by expanding the supply of short-term rented housing in residential, university and/or temporary accommodation. Such management will predominantly take place through forms for services contracts, housing allocation, subleases, temporary tenancies, transitional contracts or “hospitality contracts” for international students, in compliance with legal provisions and with reduced fees compared to similar housing in the free market.
The Company, while fully maintaining its business sustainability and operating in full compliance with the rules and criteria of sound and prudent management, aims to create social value in the management and use of student and/or temporary housing, a value which it intends to follow, by way of example, by applying more favourable conditions than market conditions, including through the substantial reduction of its own marginal utility, within the limits and respecting the business purpose referred to in the following Article 3 of the Statute.
