Festivities are a distant memory? In-Domus says no and for this reason we came out with a few simple winter recipes to extend the festive vibes, at least at the table.

Get an apron and let’s start!
Salmon mousse
Ingredients:
- Smoked salmon
- Ricotta
- Lemon
- Pepper
Put salmon and ricotta in a mixer and mix until the ingredients are perfectly blended.
Add some drops of lemon juice and some pepper.
Mix it and add pepper to taste.
You can also add some fresh chive if you like.
Spread the mousse on toasted bread, it will be a success!
Risotto gorgonzola and radicchio
Ingredients:
- Rice for risotto
- Gorgonzola
- Radicchio
- Stock
- Salt and pepper
- Extra virgin oil
Start with the risotto: put the rice in a pan with some warm oil. Toast it for a few minutes and pour some stock, covering the rice, pouring more when needed. Add salt and pepper to taste.
In the meantime, cut the radicchio in stripes and add it to the rice halfway through the cooking, adding more stock if needed.
When ready, add gorgonzola and some stock. Stir until the cheese is melted.
For a tastier result add some caramelized onions and some chopped hazelnuts.
Mug cake
Ingredients for 2 mugs:
- 90gr sugar
- 60gr milk
- 25gr seed oil
- 1 egg
- 80gr flour
- 35gr white chocolate
- 20gr bitter cocoa powder
- 3gr baking powder
Whisk the egg with sugar, until you get a white and fluffy mixture.
In a bowl sift the flour, the cocoa powder and the baking powder; stir.
Add the powder mix and the milk to the egg and sugar mix.
Add the oil, until getting a smooth mixture.
Pour in two mugs, leaving a centimetre from the edge, and add the chopped white chocolate.
Cover the mugs with some plastic wrap and cook in a microwave for 1-2 minutes, maximum heat. Time may vary depending on the desired firmness.
Let it cool and serve.
For an extra tasty result add some whipped cream.
