Today, introducing clean energy sources is the best choice a company can make, in terms of environmental protection, economic gains and brand reputation.
In-Domus receives certificate for using 100 percent renewable energy
It is with great pleasure that we want to share with you one of our most proud achievements: the Green Energy Certificate.
Indeed, In-Domus for its energy plan has joined C.En.P.I. – Confartigianato Energia Per le Imprese, which will provide CERTIFIED GREEN ENERGY produced exclusively from renewable sources.
In-Domus become an active part of the change towards a better and more sustainable world.
We have always paid close attention to sustainability issues, implementing a sustainable policy; not only through information and education of staff and residents, for a more sustainable lifestyle, but above all through concrete actions.
What is Green Energy?
Green or renewable energy refers to forms of energy produced from sources not subject to perennial depletion in their use.
The main renewable energies are divided into two groups: classic and new.
The first are water and the earth’s natural heat, which are hydroelectric power and geothermal energy.
On the other hand, the new source are those that come from solar heat, wind and sea currents, and the recycling of waste materials of organic, plant and animal origin: solar energy, wind energy, marine energy and energy from biomass.
Why switch to a Green Energy Plan?
The use of renewable energies stems above all from the need to supplement and then replace the use of non-renewable energies, which in addition to being extremely polluting also have exhaustible sources.
Renewable energies, on the other hand, have many environmental but also socio-economic advantages:
- They do not pollute: they do not emit carbon dioxide or gasses that are among the main causes of the greenhouse effect and global warming.
- Inexhaustibility of sources: renewable energies guarantee stability of supply due to the fact that the resources exploited are natural and potentially infinite.
- Low costs: technological development progressively lowers production costs.
- No risk of displacement: unlike renewable sources such as oil, transporting or otherwise moving natural resources poses no risk to the environment or human health.
- Very high availability: relying on natural sources, renewable energies can be produced practically anywhere.
Conclusion
The direction that many companies are taking is towards a more sustainable future, moving away from the traditional energy and development model based on non-renewable energy sources such as oil, coal, uranium and natural gas, and towards a model based on green energy instead.
The goal of In-Domus is to reduce the environmental impact and CO2 emissions according to the targets set by the European Union, with the achievement of environmental neutrality by 2050.
To be part of the change, one must participate in the change.
