Weather permitting, it is time to get back training outdoor. Milan has some beautiful squares and parks where to work out, whenever and with whoever you want.
We are proposing to you 3 sports that you can easily practice outdoor.
The first one is a great classic: running. A great sport activity that helps improve cardiovascular functions and calm your nerves. If you have never run before, you can read our running-approach guide. Always keep two rules in mind:
1) Listen to your body: start gradually and if your body ask for a stop, just stop. Rushing and overdoing is not good for your physical wellbeing.
2) Stretching: it might seem boring and useless but stretching is going to save you! ! If you do not want muscle pain, you better stretch.
The second outdoor activity we are proposing is cycling, on your own or with friends. Riding a bike is a great activity that allows you to tone up and develop legs muscles, keeping your weight under control and reduce stress. There are a lot of cycle paths in Milan, long or short, uptown or in the hinterland, to explore every day or during outdoor trips!
Yoga and Pilates. Great sports to working on flexibility and mobility, as well as relaxing your mind and escaping everyday chaos. The ingredients are just two: a mat and a quite place, better if in a green area. If you had never practiced these sports, you could find online classes or downloading an app to guide you.
Activities you can practice outdoor are endless, initiative and creativity are the only things required. You can practice by yourself or with a group of friends, the only things that matter is to do it. We promise, you will have huge benefits.
