Recycling items and correctly separating waste can be challenging for a lot of us, and sometimes improperly getting rid of an object might seems a meaningless gesture.
Did you know that plastic waste never completely degrades but fragment into tiny pieces? And that most of them end up in the oceans? And did you know that recycling a mason jar you can save enough energy to watch tv for 3 hours? And that you can produce a city-bike recycling 800 cans?
We are often too lazy to deal with recycling and separating waste, but it is very important to keep in mind that waste can be reused to produce something new, but only if correctly discarded.
If you collect and separate waste correctly, non-recyclable waste should be 20% to 35% of the total amount of the garbage.
1)Where do you dump the pizza box?

Check your answers at the end of the article and remember that recycling can make a real difference.
In different cities some rules can vary. In Milan, if you have any doubt you can check on the AMSA website. A quick check is a small but important gesture for the word.
